Hello, I am Apollo!
You can call me Polly, or pollo as some people call me, though I really don’t think I’m that much of a chicken. Or you can just call me Apollo, I don’t care.
Sometimes, I can come off as very rude, or maybe too straightforward. I do not mean to do so, I promise. I have a very very busy schedule that can make me grumpy at times, and for the most part I will not be able to write every day of the week.
I am a picky writer, but don’t let that discourage you from reaching out, more often than not I will take interest.
That being said, I do have some rules.
I am an adult, and all of my characters are adults. So I will not write with people who are under the age of 18, or have characters that are under the age of 18.
You must write paragraphs. Like, a minimum of three per post. I’m not asking for essays, I don’t want a novella, but more often than not I will need a bit to go off of after a brain-frying day at work.
I am patient! But, I can’t stand being ghosted. If you really want to drop the rp, just tell me. Honestly, I won’t take it the wrong way, I get it, stuff happens, sometimes writers don’t click. Be mature, give me a heads up, it takes one minute out of your day, I promise it’s that easy.
The last rule is: please, read the character profile before asking to write with them. There is vital information in their profiles, it will usually hint at who/what is most likely to click with them, what kind of settings im looking for, and how much crap they’re going to give your character. It will also let you know that a vast majority of them are, in fact, not straight. Exceptions can occasionally be made for some of my characters.
That is all for the rules, I believe.
I'm always open to hearing new ideas about RP's and characters, and I like to learn from constructive criticism. And I'm even open to making friends.
With that said, I am fully committed to someone outside of RPR, and will not stand for any flirting OOC or any inappropriate comments towards me personally. Much of my time is devoted to this person, which means responses could be slowed down quite often. If this is bothersome to you, I will not be adjusting my schedule to fit your needs, since they are my number one priority, followed by my very consuming work schedule. Thank you for your understanding.
Also! Many of my characters have songs that I use to help me write them, or songs that might have been part of the reason they were made. If you'd like to hear the song assigned to a specific character, let me know and I'll send it over.
