Aaaaand some younger folks I know have steadily been learning that slower paced RP can actually be pretty great.

So far it's been the same for me. Way better than elloquiy if I remember the site name correctly. It is very hard getting any Rps there. The two that I did just ended up ghosting me lol.

I think I was kinda barely here last year? I never got around to fixing up the Armory for last year, at least.

I started with text rp on a forum when I was 13 (2007)

And apparently last year I still managed to get over 2000 points.

I started rping back in 2013 or 2014 when I was a sophomore in high school. I legit didn't know what RP was until my friend in high school asked me and I was like, "what's RP?" Lol.

It was all just Twitter. Then after RP died on Twitter, I went to Amino but that was not a great experience then I took a break and went back to Twitter to see if it was alive and it wasn't. Then I finally googled rp forums and I stumbled here, the other one I mentioned, and umbra

I kinda stumbled into RP. Used to hang out a lot in the chat on Writing.Com in my early teens, and our silliness eventually spilled over into a forum that was set up to be a little virtual town. From there, I started looking up somewhat more serious rp forums.

That's pretty cool. I don't think I've heard of that site before

I've done tabletop a little, but I don't connect with it the same. I've also done chat-based rp some, but I prefer forums.

Jeebus. I'm not sure but I think the first forum I tried to RP on was neopets.com ;.;

Although I got my start in RP with MUDs, MOOs and MUSHes

Neopets was the first site (besides email) I ever joined.

I don't know what any of that is lol

I never had any community involvement there, though. And MUDs and stuff didn't really suit me either. Generally had no idea what I was doing.
