Verla shrugged, not really being very smart at this kind of stuff.
Tommy shrugged and hit a couple more symbols on the pedestal. Three orbs sprung from the screen, one colored gray, another magenta, and another green. As he finished, the pedestal transformed back into a sword and sprung back into the statue's hand. "Is that all?" the statue boomed. Armory nodded. "That is all Guardian. You may rest again." The guardian, in response, lowered its sword in its previous position in front of him with the tip in the ground. Its head tilted forward and closed its eyes. Armory then looked at the orbs and called to them. "Master Nightmare, awake." The gray orb then took the form of a tall skinny male with a devil tail and mischieviousness in his eyes and smile, with dual pistols at his sides in holsters. His black hair barely passed his forehead, gleaming against his dark green skin. "Master Dumblederp, awake." The magenta orb took the shape of a cowled man with a medium stature, a bo staff in his hands. His hair was short with just a little bit of white hue at the tips, a look of quietness in his eyes. "Master Crazy Head, awake." The green orb took the shape of a man with a slightly taller stature, armed with a rocket launcher on his shoulder, an eccentric look in his eyes and smile. His long hair swept down to his chin, green as the trees in the outdoors. "Masters of the elements, awake and give us guidance." At Tommy's command, the bodies shined as the heroes of the past took form. Nightmare was the first to stretch out a bit. "Well, what is it that you need young warrior?" "We need a cure for a zombie outbreak." "Is that so? And who would your leader be?" "She is Lady Verla Harness, a strong warrior with a fascination of bows and arrows. She is the vice leader next to Sir Nathan Howard, the one who founded our sanctuary." Nightmare nodded, deep in thought. "Miss Harness, you are in need of a cure, correct? Do you happen to have any samples of the zombie specimens?" Dumblederp nodded. "Me and Crazy Head have some ideas for a possible cure, but we'll need some samples to figure out what we need to give you." Crazy Head nodded. "I can help direct you to where you can find the ingredients we list as well." Tommy nodded and looked at Verla.
"I would have to ask if we have any samples left, otherwise I'd have to go out and get some." She said and looked at Tommy.
Tommy nodded. "Master Nightmare, could you possibly contain one nearby and get one yourself?" Nightmare shrugged. "I don't know. I'll give it a shot anyway." His hands glowed with a gray aura as a hand from a nearby zombie and into the open door of the armory. "That should work. Dumblederp, you know of anything?" Dumblederp brought his hand to his chin and began levitating, holding the hand by magic in front of him. "Yeah, I think so." He then summoned a piece of paper and began writing on it. Crazy Head then looked it over and began writing locations next to the items. (I'll get a list out in a bit. Have to get to my computer first.)
Verla waited as she watched them write and talk.
Dumblederp and Crazy Head nodded at each other and handed Tommy the sheet of paper. "Here you go."
Tommy looked it over a bit. "But wait. What does all of this look like? I haven't seen some of these plants in years!" As Tommy said that, the heroes turned back into orbs and returned to the vault through the sword.
Zombie Cure
To brew a zombie disease curing potion, gather the following ingredients and follow the recipe with exact precision or risk an uncertain outcome.
- 1 pinch of White Cardamom- St. Devin's
- 5 teaspoons of Sanguine Ivy- The Greatest Store
- 3 pinches of Angel Catnip- Pharmacy
- 1 handful of Abyss Bloom- Military Base
- 1 pinch of Spring Marjoram- Ducky's
Grind the White Cardamom very delicately at first, then with unleashed fury at the end. Put the result in a cup. Add a sprinkle of liquid ice to turn it into a lumpy cream, then add the Sanguine Ivy all at once and make sure you don't leave any remnants.
Fill a pan with molten ice, add the mixture and freeze it, then let it melt and bring it to a gentle simmer. Let it simmer until it starts to shimmer before adding the Angel Catnip and Abyss Bloom, a quarter at a time, alternating between the two.
Quickly bring everything up to a boil, mix in the Spring Marjoram and let everything rest for a while. If you're impatient you can skip this and move on.
Remove the impurities at the surface and banish them to oblivion. Your potion is ready to be used. A few sips is all that's needed for the potion to work. A few gulps will work too, but a few slurps will be too little and not very classy.

Tommy looked it over a bit. "But wait. What does all of this look like? I haven't seen some of these plants in years!" As Tommy said that, the heroes turned back into orbs and returned to the vault through the sword.
"I guess we're on our own now. I think I've seen some of these before."
Tommy sighed. "Yeah. It was time for them to return to the vault. We'll try to search for these in the future."
She nodded and sighed as well as she looked at the list.
"We should go to bed now. We have a big day ahead of us."
"Well I'm staying here to try and figure out all of these arrows. I think I saw some bows too."
Tommy nodded. "Alright. There's an arrow for every use that you'll have."
"There's arrows for anything you'll need. Need to track a moving target? There's a tracker arrow. Need to keep someone alive? Trapper arrow. Need to get a whole area of enemies? Explosive arrow."
This entire scenario was insane; he wasn’t sure if it was the fumes from the room, or a few chems or something he had earlier, but he could’ve sworn this guy was using magic, but that was impossible. Even more impossible was the fact of a ‘cure’ that would supposedly get rid of the zeds immediately. It was insanity, but he couldn’t say anything against it, not wanting to interrupt despite the completely ridiculous situation he’d been put into.
She sensed what Nathan was thinking and she looked at him "this is our only shot in finally helping people Nate, I'm gonna turn this opportunity down." She grabbed all the arrows which surprisingly fit in the bag on her back and she looked at the different bows.
Tommy nodded. "I know it seems weird and definitely unbelievable, but its our only shot at saving this world."
"Literally what I just said, but yes."
Tommy nodded. "I'll be going to bed then. Stay in here as long as you like, but make sure that the door gets closed when you both leave."
Verla nodded, not looking away from the different bows.
