Minnie glanced up as the bartender set the Midori Sour in front of her, the vibrant green liquid catching the dim bar light. “Thank you,” she said with a small smile, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a twenty dollar bill. “I’ll pay with this. Keep the change.”

As the bartender—Sadie, if she heard correctly—processed the payment, Minnie took a careful sip of her drink, savoring the sweet melon flavor. It was nice. Different from her usual glass of wine, but tonight was about stepping outside of her comfort zone, wasn’t it?

She nodded at the bartender’s parting words. “I appreciate it, Sadie.” With that, she settled in, letting her gaze wander over the bar’s patrons, quietly observing the ebb and flow of conversation and laughter around her.
"Dangerously close? I guess I won't stop until you do." Megan further teased Jax. However, she really did look forward to in meeting more people in more suitable social situations to get to know more people. So far as she had noticed, the locals here are fairly unique, so far every person she had seen was vastly more different than a previous individual. She loved seeing such a diverse community.

She was surprised however when Jax told her that the guy who ripped that tight shirt was actually his brother. "Well, I guess that makes sense. That was so random of him." she laughed finally. That guy really made a strong first impression of himself and it was the goofiest one possible.

But when he came back to where thy left off, Megan chuckled as she brought the cigarette to her lips when he said that he might be too distracted to be mad. "Hmmm? No reason to be mad, I don't think you need a shirt. Besides, I don't think you're distracted enough." she purred to him as she gave him that look, something beyond suggestiveness, almost like a subtle offer.

When Sadie came over to ask them if they want refills, Megan switched her attention to her and smiled. "Hey sweets, we're doing well. And yes, we'll have more."

Honestly, she was getting slightly tipsy already. This back and forth with Jax seemed to leading towards a certain direction and in all honesty, she was quite impressed with herself that on day one, her first time ever in Florida, she got to score a guy...
So much for being social tonight. Dani had already given into the urge that was tugging within her that was calling for alcohol. She barely even registered that there were people around. Once she got the second drink, she thanked the bartender with a genuine smile before she started on that one as well. She'd stopped pretending to be discreet with this one now, finishing it rather quickly. Afterwards, her face was a mixture of emotions, but one of the more prominent and perhaps disturbing ones was relief. Not satisfaction from a well-made drink, not pleased with the sweet taste it left in her mouth, but relief. Like she was just relieved to have it in her system. It was a brief moment of self-reflection, but Dani would not be acknowledging her problems today.

Dani turned her head to the brunette woman, offering her a smile. "You look lovely." she said, starting to open up a bit. "I'm actually about to go, but I just moved into Sunset Beach Condos. Room 208, if you're interested. No pressure." Antisocial wasn't the correct word to describe her. She liked talking to people, but she didn't necessarily go out of her way to. If she was going somewhere, it would usually be for some other purpose that did not involve human interaction, and then whatever socialization came of that was unplanned. Now that she used her money on its intended purpose, Dani felt that she should be making her exit. That, and she was starting to itch for something else.

She waved goodbye to the bartender, Sadie, before rising from the chair, stumbling a bit. She steadied herself and walked carefully towards the door. Her balance and coordination were only slightly impaired, not nearly enough for her to be incapable of making it safely home, but the heels did make her life slightly harder in the moment. And with that, she left the bar, though her night was terribly far from over.
Jax’s eyebrow rose when she said she wouldn’t stop until he did. “Funny, I was just thinking the same about you.” He wanted to see her flesh lighten with the blush caused by his words. Or better yet. His hands. The thought was then interrupted by Vic and the explanation, but her response made him laugh. “Yeah, he does that, but I’m used to it.” Jax loved Vic, so there really wasn’t much he could do that truly pissed Jax off. Mild irritation at best, really.

Jax, however, was also incredibly distracted, and those hawk like eyes moved back to her as she said she thought he didn’t need a shirt. Playfully cocky, he leaned just a little closer to her, which stretched his body just enough to give that hint of muscle under the shirt he was wearing. And she didn’t think he was distracted enough. A slow, seductive smile moved across his face, and his head tilted gently to the side. “Oh really?” He asked quietly, and pointedly, looking into her eyes with intent in his. “And what do you plan on doing about that?”

Just after he asked the question, Sadie came over to check on them, and he too shifted his attention for just a moment. It gave him a second to get his urges a little more under control. He turned then to Sadie, and smiled at her. “Hello, Blondie. I think we’re doing just fine over here, but as promised, I will definitely take another, please.” Jax wasn’t anything near drunk, as his body burned off alcohol much too quickly in these small doses, but he still enjoyed the drink, and he was certainly enjoying the chase. While they waited, he leaned back again, subtly watching Megan for her reaction to his words.
Megan feasted her eyes as he leaned to stretch out and show off his broad physique, seeing the definition of his muscles as he did so. She smiled as she bit her lower lip to keep her composure on the outside, but on the inside, the impatience and need grew. Her trip from California to here was a pretty damn long one and didn't have any company until today. The itch really ached with the need to be scratched.

When Sadie had left to get their refills, Megan thought about his question what she was going to do about him not being distracted enough, before giving him a mischievous smirk, letting her manicured nails trail down his muscled arm slowly. "Tell you what... After the next drinks... You convince me to take me somewhere, hm?"

She was convinced already. Megan already knew well enough what she wanted. But it was just the thrill of the game and anticipation that made her want to indulge a little bit more.
Something you learn when you're in high-born society and you tread through the unknown territory, is that you learn about the environment and it's people before you show yourself. It is a very calculative approach, the kind that Karina would never not take seriously. Especially because of the intentions with which he came here to Florida.

It's been a week since she moved, and Karina just now decided that it was the perfect moment to show up into the world. For the most part, she had been absorbing information and listening in from inside of her apartment and preparing herself for her pursuit of invaluable riches that seemed to be plenty in this place.

It got boring to always be in the same place and ordering food to the apartment and Karina could not wait to stretch her legs for a bit.

She dolled up and wore her satin dress and her precious jewelry before setting out to the warm streets of Florida. Out of everywhere she had been in the world, the people here seemed to the most relaxed unlike anywhere she's seen, which really was a strange sight to someone like Karina, where she could never afford such a freedom, where showing even a moment of carelessness could cost her her entire livelihood.

However, as she passed by the bar, she had taken note of a number of people she remembered seeing in the condo after doing some spying. For some reason, a lot of them were in this place and curiosity got the better of her. She really wanted to see why was this bar in particular frequented by so many familiar faces.

She walked towards the bar and took a seat, in between the two girls who had a conversation between each other and a man who spoke with the bartender with familiarity. Upon getting the bartender's attention, Karina made her order. "One Sunrise vodka, please." it might've been a little stereotypical for a woman with Russian accent to order a drink with vodka, but it was all a part of the game that Karina was playing.
“Convince you?” He repeated in charm and challenge. He tilted his head in thought as she scanned her, but became immediately distracted when he felt those long nails drift down his tattooed arm. The blood flowed almost immediately from his head downwards as his brain exploded with where else those nail could scratch.

He let his brain weave the images as outside, he remained focused. When her nails reached his wrist, he caught and lifted her hand as his fingers stretched on the inside of her palm. It was a light but brief touch. “But you see, darlin, the question isn’t if I can convince you. The question is…how long can you resist it, since uh…” Jax could hear her heartbeat, hear the rush of her blood. He felt it in the rush of her pulse as his finger trailed over her wrist again. It was like music to him. “I already have?”

Jax’s blue eyes scanned her face again as he asked his question, but his ears never stopped listening to his surroundings either. He heard another girl come in, and go to the bar, and heard Sadie readying their drinks, but he never took his focus off Megan, or the mounting moment that lay between them.
Things were really getting intense between the two. Megan had reached a point where she got to touch him, leave those faint drags of her nails down his arm before his fingers now touched her skin, trailing over her nerves as he spoke. Megan chuckled softly as she reached with her other hand for the drink, taking a sip. Oh yeah, she was convinced.

But where's the fun in cutting the chase and admitting it so soon? Besides, they are a drink away from calling it a night here by the looks of it. He could feel that rush in her veins, the warmth that increased on her skin, the rhythmic heartbeat that would ring inside one's mind.

After setting her drink down, Megan looked at him as she leaned closer to him, nudging him lightly once again in that playful manner, but this time she did not pull away. She remained close, arm to arm and enough to keep her voice a bit lowered. "Oh yeah? And what makes you think that Jax, hmmm?" she purred the question to him.
Her question made him chuckle. He could see it in her eyes, and hear it in her voice. They each took a drink, and Megan leaned into him again first. He took this as another good sign, and let himself lean back in. His fingers still brushed lightly over her thudding pulse, and he could almost smell the arousal that he brought out in her. Granted, that could have been his own as well, for he was certainly aroused by her.

“Well, you see, Megan.” He put a slight Irish twist on her name. “I have a knack for picking up on these things,…especially when they come from someone as captivating as you.” Jax smiled with his words, as the tips of his fingers very lightly trailed over her fingers and one of her nails, then back again.

Yes, he was very much enjoying this little game. It wasn’t often he met a woman who wanted to challenge him, which in ways, made him pay a little more attention to their flirtation. Leaning a little bit closer, so his voice was for her and her alone, he whispered; “But I find myself wondering, why tell you when I can simply show you instead?”
Fitzpatrick beamed at his mate as she walked the length of the bar and wrapped her arms around his waist. “Missing you was the motivation, but I am feeling much better.” He lifted one of his hands and tucked a lock of her golden blonde hair behind her ear, his fingers brushing down her neck. “Those showers you gave me really helped.” There was a mischievous smile on his face as he made that statement.

When she asked if she could get him anything he nodded and leaned in to kiss her. The kiss could have been considered inappropriate for public eyes, but that was the last thing on his mind. They were in the beginning stages of their courtship, and he needed her to know just how deeply and intensely he felt for her. His hands gripped her hips as he deepened the kiss. And all too soon, he did pull back after only a minute so not to be too lude. He followed the kiss up with a small, more appropriate kiss to her cheek. “I just what I really wanted, but I’ll take a nice scotch while I admire you while you work.”

He didn’t want to let go of her waist, but he knew she had work to do. He moved around the bar to the first available stool and claimed it. He looked around the bar curious about the clientele. An elegant-looking lady sat only a stool away from him and he looked over to her (Minerva) and offered her a polite smile. “Good evening,” he said to see if she was in the mood to chat. Then a redhead (Karina) with an aura of trouble entered the bar. Fitzpatrick had no choice but to turn his head to look at her. It wasn’t attraction for him, but there was something demanding about her presence. If she caught him looking at her, he would offer the same polite smile and the same, “Good evening.”
Karina had ordered her drink when she noticed a man next to her eyeing at her. She heard him greet another woman at the bar that was having her meal and Karina's chilly blue eyes, as cold as Mother Russia herself met with his as she fished out her marlboro reds - red like her whole entire being - as her manicured nails reached for her lighter.

"I noticed that in America and some other western countries." she started a conversation, her Russian accent thick, though she was eloquent and posh in the way she had spoken and carried herself. He was right with his assumption - she is trouble. But she is trouble that came out of a very well off family. "People smile at each other or would randomly greet each other. I don't have a problem with it. It just takes a lot of getting used to. It would be considered borderline rude in Russia." she explained as she set the cigarette between her lips to light it.

The man had a strange aura about him. Despite her monologue, he did not seem like a typical American. He was, however, quite western in her eyes. "British isles, I take it?"
Megan was getting a little bit light-headed from the alcohol. She hadn't eaten proper since her arrival, and drinking on her cocktail along with the teasing back and forth with Jax, Megan felt the effect of the alcohol grabbing ahold of her a little bit too strongly.

Or maybe he was a little bit too captivating for her in the moment that he felt like alcohol as he gave her those feathery touches. She was growing more and more impatient. She had the need to grab him and take him back to her place, but she had to hold back. Considering that she just moved in and that most of the place still was not as furnished, but at least she'd have another reason to have invite hi once the place is more presentable - to have him see her collection if their first time goes well and so that she can play with him some more.

"Mmmm, really?" she tilted her head at him as she purred, her eyes darting from his eyes to lower down his face before looking back into his orbs. "And what is if that you wanted to show me?"
Jax smirked at her answer. He was monitoring her subconsciously but his main focus was on her. Those light touches got a little heavier, dragging his finger along her arm, as he leaned in a little further. Now he was almost close enough to brush his lips against hers, but he stopped himself, letting the moment just hang there.

He took his time with this one, letting that finger move over her shoulder, and slowly over her neck. He trailed that light touches over her jaw, his sharp blue eyes looking into hers. He wanted her heart to race before he ever touched her. He wanted her near begging, as in reality, that’s about where he was in his thought process. Still, he took his time as he let that moment get heavier and heavier.

His response was quiet, designed to make her listen to hear him. It was also said with such an Irish twist, he hoped he would make her belly twist with lust. “You know, I could tell you….but I think I’d rather see the look on your face when you find out instead. “ Now, he let his lips very very lightly brush hers, teasing and also testing the waters to see how she might react to this new tease.
As she held onto Fitzpatrick's waist, from the corner of her eye she saw Dani stand up. She noticed that she was leaving and turned her blueish purple eyes from her mate's brown eyes briefly and gave the woman a small smile of acknowledgment. She then looked back towards Fitzpatrick when she heard him speak. She smiled when he said he was feeling much better as it eased her worry for him. Though she knew he was more than likely healed and had helped with that process. She felt him push her hair behind her ear, followed by his fingers slightly caressing her neck. She started blushing profusely at his comment about the showers and put her forehead on his chest as a giggle escaped her.

"I thoroughly enjoyed those myself, as well. Maybe another again tonight, if you are so inclined to join me." She flirtatiously spoke as she raised her head to meet his eyes with hers. As she did, she released one of her arms from his waist and placed her hand on his chest over his heart. She had just finished asking him if she could get him anything when he nodded and leaned his face in towards hers. She soon felt his lips and the same fireworks that she felt when they first kissed or any time they kissed. There had been a lot since they had spent the last few days inseparable. The kiss grew heated as she parted her lips and allowed his tongue entrance. Though the kiss didn't last long, it probably wasn't a kiss that should be done in public. She did not care or think anything of the surroundings as she had thoroughly enjoyed the public display of affection.

After the initial kiss was over, she felt him kiss her cheek and finally replied to the question she had asked. "That was definitely something I wanted since I left for work earlier. Though I could use more. It will just have to suffice for now." She spoke as she smiled sweetly at him and her eyes filled with a hints of desire for him and something so much more. "Nice scotch coming right up. Go have a seat and I will bring it to you." She kissed his cheek and released her arm from around his waist as she went to make him his drink. As she did, she noticed as newcomer had arrived in the bar and saw it was a woman in red with very red hair. Though that wasn't what was strange about the woman, it was the aura she gave off, and it made Sadie alert and territorial. Though she didn't show it physically.

She made eye contact with the red head and heard then the lady's drink order. As she was already making Fitzpatrick's, she went ahead and made her Sunrise Vodka. She finished making the drinks and soon had one in each hand as she headed towards them. She placed Fitzpatrick's scotch in front of him and if he was looking at him, she would give him a loving smile and wink. Then she headed towards the redhead, grabbed a coaster, and placed the drink in front of the new patron before she said. "Hello, lovely. What will your method of payment today be?" She spoke politely with a smile towards Karina and waited for her response as she would processed the woman's drink order accordingly.

After tending to Karina, Sadie would then make her rounds through the bar, checking on the rest of the patrons. Having just made fresh drinks for Jax and Megan, she decided to skip them. Especially seeing how intimate they were getting and didn't want to interrupt. She came back to Minerva and asked. "Are you doing good over here, beautiful? Can I get you anything else?" She didn't know her name, so she couldn't say it, but she was very friendly and showing she did notice Minerva was there. She heard Fitzpatrick greet the customers when he sat down, and it made her feel butterflies at his kindness. She looked over towards Fitzpatrick when she heard Karina speak to him. She wasn't sure if the woman was being judgemental or trying to disguise something else entirely, but Sadie knew she would watch her closely.
Fitzpatrick was all winks and smiles towards Sadie when they were together. Love was budding between them and he couldn't get enough of her. The few days they were able to remain inseparable had been like a dream - a dream he wasn't ready to let go of yet. When Sadie mentioned more showers he couldn't hide the flash of desire and need in his eyes. "Once the bar closes I'll race you to the shower." He was as playful as a school boy with her, and twice as yearning. With his drink in front of him, he reached out and caressed the back of her hand with his fingers.

He sighed but heard a thick, strong Russian accent and turned to look at the woman in red. "Smiling and basic greetings would be considered rude?" He looked to Sadie and made a yikes face before looking back to the redhead. "Perhaps it is a very good thing my family doesn't do business in Russia. I certainly would be guilty of offending everyone I came into contact with."

His speech was easy, alluring - very English. When she guessed he was from the British Isles he was quick to offer his homeland. "Kent, England, to be more exact. I'm the Duke of Kent." This was the first time he ever shared his title with anyone but his beloved. It was clear be was proud of his lineage. "Fitzpatrick Allhallows. And who might you be, madam?"
Megan had to literally fight the shivers that wanted to storm through her nerves from his light and feathery touches that teased and agonized her. As a result, she crossed her legs and pressed them together to fight this. Especially now that he was so close, his breath brushing against her lips, feeling his warmth wash over her with just his presence and those light touches.

He was so cruel.

Before there was anything she could say, Sadie had brought them their refills and Megan gave her a smile and a nod, but she couldn't say anything in the moment. The heat from within was getting too much, the pheromones had reached an all time high at this point as there was a slight sheen of sweat on her chest, as well as the faintest blush across her face.

"I would suggest that you finish what you start, Jax..." she whispered back to him, her blue eyes hungrily weighing on his as her hand dropped to his thigh, her nails dragging slightly across the surface of his leg, but not going too far. "Or this is gonna be a hell of a long night."
Jax was getting to her, and he was rather damn pleased with himself for that. He could hear the way her heart beat, smell the way the arousal thundered through her system, and if that wasn’t enough of a clue, the way her hand moved over his thigh was his final indication. His eyes flicked briefly to Sadie, but focused quickly on Megan again. He left her hand on his thigh as he picked up the new drink and tossed it back, taking his time to consider the answer.

At her words, his lips broke into that grin again as he leaned back into her. “I always finish what I start,….but some things are more fun to finish together.” With that, his body decided he was done waiting. The way she looked at him with such want in her eyes set him on fire, and he needed to have her.

His hand moved down to hers, and picked it up to hold. “Come with me. I promise I know where the fun is.” He winked at her playfully, letting his lips brush hers once again before he started making motions to stand up. If she followed him, he would then lead her from the bar. If she did not follow his movements, then he would simply wait until she was ready. Either way, Jax wanted her. And he wanted her now.
It was finally happening. Honestly, Megan had no clue how long she could've handled this. Her needs are very particular, insatiable and... Well, she's not pleased easily. That was the nature of a nympho, really. Sometimes it takes whole night, sometimes that's not enough either.

So when Jax finally decided that it was time to go, Megan reached for her drink, downed it before preparing to leave. She hoped that Jax had the bills covered, but she did pay for the first drink she had ordered. Either way, as she stood up to leave, she had noticed a sign that said "BARTENDERS NEEDED".

She liked this place and she needed a job... So she figured she'd come here first thing in the morning to talk to the owner about the position so she can make some bread. She plans on staying here at least for a couple of months, which means that she will need to have a job to sustain herself.

On her way out after Jax, she looked over at busy Sadie and if their gazes would meet, Megan would offer her a smile before walking out.

"Alright babe, lead the way. I hope you have time tonight." she winked playfully at him as he led the way
While she was cleaning up the back counter from the previous drinks she made, Sadie heard the Fitzpatrick's response towards the red head. She turned around and saw the look of surprise in his eyes, which she too had the same look. She shrugged her shoulders and smirked at him, watching what he would say next. She wasn't disappointed with what he said about his family not doing business in Russia, which made her chuckle and shake her head in amusement.

She soon stepped away and went towards the end of the bar, clearing off the empty glasses. As she was wiping the counter, she heard chairs scraping across the floor and looked up. She saw Jax and Megan getting ready to leave. She saw Megan smile at her, and she gave her a small wave goodbye as the couple left. She then grabbed a sanitized towel and headed towards the table they just vacated. She kept her ears attentive to the surroundings, in case she was needed. She heard the pride in Fitzpatrick's voice when he spoke of his lineage as she cleared the table. She looked over towards him and observed his interaction with Karina. Once she was done, she handed the dirty glasses to one of her employees as she walked back behind the bar.

She washed her hands and went back over towards where Fitzpatrick was sitting at the bar. She reached over with her hand and gently touched his as she ran her thumb across. If he looked over towards her, he would see a bright smile and a look in her eyes that showed adoration, if not something more. Something stronger. "How is it going? Do you need anything else? I do believe the bar will be closing in a few hours." She asked sincerely, but also finding that she had felt the need and want to be around him. Their bond was growing stronger with how much time they had been spending together in just the few short days since they had met.
