"im one man vs armies monika the odds are rarely in my favor even if i am as you humans say "armed to the teeth"

"Fair enough..." She shrugged and sipped from her drink.

*Ichigo looks up at the ceiling of the club and gets her pet raccoon, Jekovah, out of her satchel and just pets him repeatedly on the head while humming an older tune her aunt used to sing to her.*

"I'm also armed to the teeth, and even armed with teeth." N opens his mouth, and what look like normal flat cartoon teeth switch to gleaming sharp blades. "I was designed to disassemble any worker drones that were still active on an exo-planet mining colony after the planet's core collapsed and killed all the humans. But everyone kept telling me I was useless, and the pressure got to me, so I quit. Now here I am, Serial Designation N, wholesome killer robot boi."

She looked down at her trusty sidearm. "You all make me jealous. The only enemies I face now are political parties."

"bah politics i dealt with those centuries ago"

"At least you aren't a politician in New York. Regardless of what you do or what your intentions are, if you're the Mayor of NYC, then expect your name to be used with profanity when the subway gets delayed because the money train had a mechanical breakdown and threw all it's oil out on the track. Of course, a busted electrical line then causes the oil to catch fire." She sighs. "That was an interesting day. I was staffing one of three collapse rigs that came in to try and help extricate the workers who were stuck in the train, while the hazmat crews put out the fire and mopped up the oil. I drove from Staten Island to Midtown Manhattan, spent three hours underground doing rescue work, then had to drive back to the station and spend another hour filling out the paperwork."

"Something similar to that happened once on my first day in at Gaffney. An overhead railway collapsed, and then a bio-terrorist was on the loose. I couldn't really help out too much, due to being pregnant, so I spent most of the time watching over younger patients who's normal attending doctors were helping out with the mass response."

"That was your first day on the job? Talk about getting thrown in at the deep end."

"ehh we tenno had our first medical days on the battlefield in the middle of a warzone with artilery pounding away at our position"

"My husband was in the military."

Another demon, judging by her appearance alone, entered the bar with a tired look on her face and a thick folder on her hands that she quickly put into her bag as she approached the counter to order a drink before looking for an empty table. Finding an empty seat close to a group of people (some chatting, some seemingly busy with their own thoughts), the demon sat down and tried not to melt into her seat. "Goodness me, why must we demons be so damn complicated..." She whispered harshly, flinching when she heard the low buzzing of a phone in her bag, reaching up quickly for it and shut it down with a grimace on her face and a sigh.

*Ichigo (and apparently Jekovah too) sensed the new demon. Her tail flicked as the ring on it began to spin. Jekovah slid down Ichigo's tail and retrieved it for her. The picture of the Queen of Diamonds appeared and vibrated. She stuck her hand through the ring's 'screen' than gave it to her raccoon and let him play with it.*

As the other demon waited for her drink, she couldn't help but notice the raccoon on the other table, the animal playing with an odd device (a cellphone perhaps?). How curious this bar was, it didn't seem to bother the bartender or the waiters that the animal was out on the table- then again, it may be because it was with it's owner instead of looking around too much.

"I must admit, I didn't think you could make a raccoon to stay put for too much," Lumika said to the purple-haired demon sitting on the other table, hoping the other demon (the horns had made her thought of an Oni, but the aura was differently one of her kind) didn't mind if she started a small conversation to pass time.

*Ichigo (who had Jekovah in her arms) turned towards the other demon and chuckled a little.* "Yeah, even I'm surprised, but we've been together since I was 3 or 4 I think." She looked at her raccoon, smiled, and took her ring from him politely than slid it back on her tail. The coon chittered in response than perched on her shoulder.* "This is Jekovah by the way." *She pointed at the straight-backed coon.*

"Nice raccoon. Just make sure it doesn't have rabies. We've got a lot of those in the neighbourhood where I live and work. There was a medical callout last week because a homeless person who was dumpster diving got attacked by a raccoon that was living in that dumpster."

*She chuckled and waved her hand respectfully and patted the top of Jekovah's head.* "I make sure to have him checked every three months, and if he ever starts acting funny I take him in, so no need to worry miss." *She somewhat bowed on her stool and Jekovah mimicked her as well.*

he gets up and heads outside the bar rather abruptly before rocketing into the sky with an arcwing he had just gotten news of a grinner invasion of earth

*Ichigo makes somewhat of chittering noise towards Jekovah, who tilts his head than skitters to her satchel, slides in, and lays down for a nap.*

“Ah, then that makes sense.” Hummed Lumika, seeing the animal return to it’s satchel with a command. Well trained and well-behaved- ferrets and cats were staying behind on that part, the overly curious and mischievous creatures took ages to train just to not throw things around. “I’m assuming it’s a normal raccoon and not a fabled tanuki? From where I come, those are abundant and can be trusted companions sometimes.”
