Brad walks through the house with his clipboard and pen in hand. Checking off each item on the list for the party for fraternity/sorority open house. This parties were both mandatory and important. They could get new plagues at keep the fraternity alive and growing. Kappa Omega Kappa is one of the longest and oldest fraternity on campus; they always are need of the right new recruits to keep it up. As he enter into the kitchen he double check about everything: food check, alcohol check, cups check, and the number to their favorite pizza place on speed dial and back up booze just case you know. Many college students could be or get sloppy drunk and next thing you know the food is spilled everywhere. "Guys can you all please move the food to the party room?" Brad calls out to the other members as he leaves the kitchen looking over the checklist.
He heads down to the lounge room to make sure his brother had everything ready was ready in there. "Johnny how it going down here? Is everything perfect in an order?" He calls out as he descends and the small few steps. Everything is in order but John wasn't down there. Brad merely just shrugs and goes back up to the small set of stairs. He wonders into the ballroom to find the last of the fraternity brothers they have places the food on the party tables and found his brother were up front working on the D.J. booth. "Johnny did you download our best playlist? Mitch has so kindly updated it so we can draw in plenty of plagues and a few sorority girls won't hurt." He calls out from the door frame where he stood. Resting his clipboard on his hip. This is his first frat party that him and his brother were throwing and this was one of their few times to try and draw in new people. Hopeful nothing will cause this night to go a rye. "Yeah I did, Kwan is going to work the booth for the first two hours and then we'll swap so I can handle it for the rest of the night." John plugs up the last thing that needed to be done for the D.J. booth. Walking over to his brother with his cockiest smile he has "I think tonight will blow all the past parties out the water."
Right on time Brad's phone alarm goes off 7:00pm its show time. Handing off his clipboard to Vince put away; while Brad along with John power walking towards the door. They stops right at the door; John turns towards Brad. "Bradley let's do our usual stick okay." "Your stereotypical frat jock that you basically see in every movie?" Brad quickly looks over himself in the mirror right next to the door. "Of course its what most people believe we are why not give it to them." Both brothers take hold of the knob before opening the doors and taking a step out into the open. Frat row was feel to the brim with new people. Stepping a farther out onto the porch looking out at the new college students and returning students.
They're hopeful they will get a plenty of new people in Kappa Omega Kappa.

The autumn air was warm but comfortable, and it looked like the house was the place to be this coming night! Of course, Sophia was ready to party! of course, she was there to study fashion art and design, and all the required classes, but being away from the parents and living in her own little apartment was some serious freedom!
Arriving early, it looked like there were some setting up to do still so she was given a beer and sent to sit on at a high table (pictured). She was patient, and didn't mind getting a little pre-loaded.
Not really knowing anyone there, she thought about who she could text to invite. She wasn't sure what the admittance rules were, but she herself was invited by a guy that she bumped into outside the student lounge. He handed her a flyer, so she assumed it was an open party.
She thought about texting a girl she met at orientation named Jane, but Sophia got the vibe that she wasn't a big partier. She texted her cousin Cindy and her friend from high school Carrie, seeing if they could drop by.
She put her phone down on the table when the music started... "Woohoo! Party!" she cried out as she picked up her beer and took a long drink.
Bill didn't really like to party, but he did like hanging around parties... especially these frat parties. He could usually make a few bucks at them selling his goods, and he usually met interesting people. He had arrived early today because he had something one of the KOK sorority members wanted. Trouble was, he wasn't there yet.
So Bill wandered the house a little, and when he spotted a cute girl sitting alone with her drink, he walked up to her and asked. "Do you usually party alone, or is there a seat for me?"
Now Bill was socially awkward, and his voice and words never really fit his look and demeanor. Still, it never hindered him from trying.

Sophia sat and sipped her beer and smiled and chatted a little as people started to fill the house. She was looking the other way when a guy spoke to her... "Do you usually party alone, or is there a seat for me?"
Turning quickly, Sophia smiled and shrugged as she pulled the stool next to her out. "I usually seem to party alone until someone joins me! I'm Sophia! Call me Sophie or Soph." With her smile, she offered the guy a hand to shake.

Casey walked out of the door that led to the basement and made sure it was locked before walking away from it. He wasn't in the sorority, but he had a pass because he did a lot of tech work for them, like the cameras. He didn't normally party outside of a few bong-hits and a beer or two, but he was supposed to meet a friend here to talk about a project.
Seeing his friend come in on the camera, he sorted out some of the tech and got the preferred playlist running through the house sound system which he had also installed. It would give his friend time to strikeout with his flirt with that cute Asian girl he'd seen before... Sophie was her name. Passing on the keg beer, Casey went to the fridge and got himself a Bud Ultra bottle and opened it, sipping it while he watched people.

Bill shook the girl's hand before he pulled up the stool next to her. "Nice to meet you, Sophia. I'm Bill." He looked around for a moment before asking her, "So do you know any people here?"
He then caught the eye of the guy he was to meet ... Casey ... "I know this guy here." Bill said as he waved him over. to where he and Sophia was sitting.

"Oh, I know him... I think." she added as she waved to him as well. Even as she smiled big, she couldn't quite place the guy in her mind. He just a 'familiar' look to her.
When Casey saw Bill wave him over, he made his way over. He smirked when he looked to Sophia. "Hi. It's been a while."
He then turned to Bill who simply slipped him a folded page of notebook paper which Casey slipped into a pocket. He then sat down next to Bill. Ignoring Sophia, he said in a low voice barely audible over the music, "I took care of that one thing you wanted. You say you got something else you need looked into?"

"Yeah." Bill answered Casey. He was a bit reserved as to how much to say in front of this party girl he just met, but he already guessed that she was a bit of a talker.
"A couple things actually. Sophia, could you go get us a couple cups of the keg beer?." He looked at her with a mixed expression of 'please' and you can be off now'. He tried to soften his approach a little... "I just need five minutes to speak with Casey in private is all."
Somehow, Bill sort of managed to sound polite.

She was brought back from trying to remember where she and Casey hooked up at when Bill talked to her... "Sophia, could you go get us a couple cups of the keg beer?" She looked to Bill and grinned again. "Sure, I can do that. I need another one too!" She slipped off the stool and gave Casey and Bill a grin before walking off to get in line for the keg.
Casey gave Sophia a nod as she walked away, then turned back to Bill as he shook his head slightly. "Gawd she has an irritating voice" he mumbled out, not sure if Bill heard him over the music. "So, you said in your message you wanted me to look into someone. I'll need a name to even get started."
Casey sipped on his Bud Ultra bottle. "And what exactly do you want to know? Anything specific, or just a general dossier?" He was hoping to get what info Bill had for this new project as quickly as possible, and he figured Bill wanted to give it before Sophia returned with three cups of beer. He wasn't going to drink the one gotten for him, but from what he remembered about Sophia, she won't mind having two beers.

Bill watched Sophia disappear in the building sea of bodies before turning to Casey. He did raise an eyebrow and nod ever so slightly to his muse about Sophia's voice.
He looked around before turning to Casey. "Stephanie Hall." He sipped his drink a little. "Everything you can find. Namely her home address. I know she is a star on a hit TV show called 'Dark Blue'. It should give you something to go on." Bill's voice was low normally, but the music paused as there looked like a second DJ was going to work the board while the primary DJ named Kwan stepped down to get something to drink.
Bill straightened up when Kwan walked up to the table. "Hey Bill, you got?"
Bill took a deep breath as he looked around. He stared back at Kwan. "You could at least try and be a little more discreet. Don't know which of these yayhoos are listening. Let's go somewhere more private."
Kwan shrugged and nodded turning he said over his shoulder, "Come with me."
Bill got up and gave Casey a nod leaned to him. "Check your bank account. There will be some expense money in it." He then walked off following Kwan to 'his office'.

There was a few people in line to get beer, and Sophia got in the cue. She was talking and smiling and laughing with the people in front of her and those who lined up behind her, and found it was quite easy to make friends, She never had a problem being forward with talking to people. When she got to the keg, the kegmaster said its temperament required a easy hand.
"Here you go." he said handing Sophia as cup of beer.
"I need two more for my friends back at the table." Sophia gave him a mischievous smile.
"You want three beers?" he asked.
"Yes please." Sophia sipped the first beer which obviously was hers. The kegmaster sighed and started to fill another cup...

Garrett was sitting on the counter next to the keg handing Eric cups as he tried to tame the excited beer coming out of the keg. Of course he noticed the cute Asian girl in the yellow sundress approaching in line. it wasn't hard to not hear what she was saying as she talked to other people in line.
"Hey little lady... three beers. I'm sure Eric will wrestle them from the keg, but how about he fills one beer for the next person between filling your three beers? Only fair don't you think?" Garrett gave her a once-over look as he worked at convincing her. "You can have a seat here while you wait."
Gary slid off the counter and turned and lifted the small girl up by her hips and sat her on the counter where he was sitting as Eric handed her the first beer. "I'm Gary, and this is Eric running the tap." I looked to her smiling face and asked, "Should I just call you 'Three Beers'?"

Casey took a moment to check his banging app and sure enough, a thousand dollars had been deposited in his account. He chuckled as he closed it and put his phone back in his pocket Since he had what he needed from Bill, Casey finished his Bud and set the bottle on the table before slipping off the stool. When Sophia got around to returning to the table, she will find she would have three beers to herself. He headed back to the tech room at the house to get to work on finding out what he could on this 'Stephanie Hall' that Bill was so interested in.
Sophia smiled as she squinted and reached to shake the guy's hand. "Hai!" she let out as he slid to his feet. Instead of shaking her free hand, he lifted her to sit on the counter.
"ooOoohh!" she squeaked at the lift. It surprised her and she almost spilt the one beer she had.
"Um, nice to meet you Gary! And you too Eric! Thank you for the beer! Do give out to the others. please." She was chattering, and would explain the delay to Bill and Casey when she got back to the table.
"You can call me 'Three Beers if you like. I will have to add that to the many many nicknames I've earned, but if you really want to know my name, I'm Sophia Quentin."
She smiled as she took another swig from her beer cup.

Shoot. Of course her phone had to die in a place like this. In the middle of a place that she was highly unfamiliar with.
Agnes repeatedly checked her phone, each time hoping that it would somehow have more charge in it, a mounting sense of dread creeping upon her mind. Why the heck did it have to die now? What the heck could she do? Tossing the now useless phone into the backpack she wore, Agnes looked around for someone to ask. Nothing but empty dark houses, besides one. One that looked a bit too lively for comfort.
Sighing, she strode up to the entrance, glancing around for a doorbell, giving up, and just knocking on the door. Hopefully someone would hear her over the noise of the party inside. She looked rather out of place relative to her surroundings, from the clothes she wore to her appearance.
