Arien smiled but it didn't quite reach his eyes. "I'll do my best, Red." He gently ran his hands through her hair. "But don't go running into danger anymore than you have to."

Red closed her eyes when he ran his fingers through her hair.
"I promised i wouldnt leave you. Remember?" Red murmured.
A cold breeze blew and Red shivered a little but the warmth from Arien took off most of the sting.
"Why dont you sleep with me in the tent tonite? Its pretty chilly out," offered Red and she looked up at Arien.

Arien hesitated, but it was getting cooler already and he knew it would be uncomfortably cold by the time the moon set.

"If you don't object, I would appreciate it," he replied carefully. "But I should warn you it's really only a one-man tent--so it might get a bit, er, snug."

"Im not used to it but i wont mind it. If its you that is..." Red whispered the last part and glanced at the fire. A blush crept along her cheeks.
It was a full moon out. And it bathed the little hollow they were staying in with light, as a cloud moved away from it. It gave Red's skin an eerie glow and her eyes lit up as she looked up at the moon.

"I'll try to be quiet then." Arien followed her gaze up to the moon. "Full moon tonight. At least traveling will be easier. We're leaving at a good time. Anything you want to see one last time before we pack up in the morning?"

"Nuh uh," Red said before getting up.
She stretched before heading over to the tent.
"You coming?" she said with a smile.
Kicking off her boots and throwing her sword next to them, she crawled into the tent. Sitting up, she let her hair fall down out of the messy ponytail. Sighing with relief that she could finally relax. Red pulled her amber hair to one side of her neck, leaving the other side bare. She debated with or not to let Arien have back his shirt then thought against it.

Arien shook his head as he followed a little more slowly, allowing Red to get situated before he plowed into the tent. Not that he wouldn't try to be, ah, delicate about it but he really wasn't made for finesse. He set his sword and boots outside the tent, close enough to grab if he needed them.

"Alright, move aside," Arien joked light-heartedly as he crouched to peer into the tent. It was a big one-man tent, nearly big enough for two people so it wouldn't be that much of a squeeze. It would get hot fast though. "Let me know if you get hot. I can unzip the tent some." Well, he was planning on leaving it slightly open for a breath of fresh air, anyway.

He flopped down onto his side, figuring that would leave more space for Red than if he lay on his back.

Red leaned over him and smiled.
"You know you dont have to give me so much room. Im pretty small compared to you," she teased him then laid down on her back.

She liked having him close to her. It made her feel safe and she felt a pull towards him. Breathing out a small sigh of relaxation, she grabbed one of the blankets and tossed it over to Arien.

"Well then," said Arien, and he rolled onto his back with a sigh. He closed his eyes and listened. He could hear Red breathing. Unintentionally he matched her, and then flinched when she threw the blanket on him.

"Ah, thanks, I don't think we're gonna need it though. This tent's gonna heat up pretty quick with two bodies. It heats up well enough with just one," he added. But he shifted over a little, closer to Red until they were nearly touching. He sighed; he was blissfully happy.

Red turned onto her side and snuggled up to Arien. She put her head on his chest and closed her eyes. Listening to his heartbeat, she relaxed and draped her arm over his stomach. A blush creeped over her cheeks at being this close to him.

To be honest, he hadn't expected her to worm up to him so quickly. Smiling to himself, he brushed a hand through her hair and then wrapped his arm around her to keep her close.

"I love you, Red," he murmured softly, as he waited for sleep to claim him.

"I love you too Arien," Red whispered before falling into a deep sleep.

Birds tweeted and the wind rustled the leaves as dawn approached. The sun had barely risen but Neo went out for another hunt and Nex groomed his fur. Really Nex just stayed because he was making sure Ash wasnt going to be a threat.

Red squeezed her eyes shut and tried to make herself go back to sleep but sleep would not come. Sighing she opened her eyes but didnt move. Smiling she realised that she had slept close to Arien all night and he was actually quite comfortable.

Arien had slept, but not nearly as deeply as Red. He heard the birds stirring and he sighed softly. A new day, a new beginning. He looked down at Red who seemed to have slept well and he smiled. It wasn't lack of comfort that had kept him awake; quite the opposite. He'd felt so...secure in having her by his side that he hadn't wanted to miss out on it by sleeping.

When he felt her stir, he smiled. "I'll get breakfast ready if you like."

Red held onto Arien's shirt. "Nooo..i dont wanna get up yet." Red sounded like a little kid complaining about having to go to school.
Red liked being this close to Arien and she didnt want to get up. Lightly she ran her finger tip around Arien's chest, drawing random patterns. She didnt really think about it before she did it, it was almost like a reaction for her being this close to him

He hadn't moved an iota, if that was what she was worried about. And he grinned when she complained. "Or I can stay here, for a bit."

He ruffled her hair and then flinched when she began to trace her finger along his chest. He inhaled sharply, a bit ticklish himself, and gently reached for her hand. "I don't mind," he said, "but I'm, uh, not sure you want to continue this."

What was he doing? Now of all times? Really? But it wasn't like he was trying to discourage her. Not when he moved in to give her a gentle kiss.

Red moved into the kiss but she was a bit confused.
"Why?" she murmured not sure if the tracing bothered him or what.

Neo trotted back with a couple of rabbits. Nex watched him and flicked his ears as the sun shone down on him, making him hot.

Bella pricked up her ears when Neo brought back the rabbits, but she was content to lay and bask in the sun, her dark fur absorbing the heat.

Arien shook his head. "Forget it." He tapped Red on the nose and then sat up. The blanket he'd been given was wadded up at the far end of the tent. "I think I hear movement outside. Probably the tigers and Bella are hungry."

Dissapointment clearly showed in Red's eyes then she sat up and huffed.
"Yes i suppose so," she said dissmissvely.
Getting up she put her hair up in a messy ponytail and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. Opening the tent, she walked out and scratched Neo behind his ear as she passed by.
"Flame start," she said smoothly and a fire started.
Nex looked at Red in surprise but Red sighed and skinned the rabbits Neo brought back. Slicing them into strips, she cooked them over the fire then handed the tigers and Bella their portions. She set Ariens down by the tent entrance then walked off towards the pond.
"Im going for a walk. Be back later," Red said with a sigh.

Arien felt like he'd just ruined her day, but he didn't know why. He rubbed a hand through his hair irritatedly.

"Doesn't she want a gentleman? I thought that was what she wanted?" He ate his portion, realizing that once again Red had taken it upon herself to prepare breakfast. He sighed. "Alright, fine. Whatever. We've got places to go, people to avoid, and...things to pack."

He made quick work of rolling up the tent and packing as Red went for her walk. When he looked up, he realized Bella had gone. Probably, he figured, to walk with Red.

Red walked to the pond and took off Arien's shirt and was more mad at herself than anyone.
"You just cant keep your emotions out of it can you?" she growled to herself.
Sighing she washed Arien's shirt out and hung it on a nearby branch to dry. Then she dove in the water and swam straight to the bottom.
Looking around, she found what she was looking for. A cave mouth yawned a few feet across the pond. Swimming to it, she entered the cave even though it was pitch black. Reaching out above her, she felt cold air and swam to the top. Breaking the surface of the water, she shivered when cold air met her. Climbing out of the water onto the solid ground above the water. Red flopped backwards and laid there, looking up at the ceiling.
Red often came here when she needed to think and right now she had alot on her mind. How she felt towards Arien and Ash were the main things. But also she needed that antidote and it was way out of the way Arien wanted to go. Just killing Ash woul accomplish nothing except to release her hold on Red's life. The poison would continue once Ash was gone.
