Red burst out laughing. She doubled over with pain from laughing so hard.
"Nex...Neo...." Red tried to give them orders but she was laughing too hard.
Nex dropped the fish and trotted to her side, running his tail along Neo's spine, telling him where to go. Neo snapped his jaws down onto the mans leg, not breaking skin though. He jerked his head up, makin the man fall.

The self-satisfied smirk crossing Arien's face froze as the tiger's jaw clamped around his leg.

"Wha-! Ah!" Arien yelped as his leg was pulled out from under him and he landed on his back.

Bella sprang into action--pouncing over Arien's supine form to bristle and snarl at the tiger attacking her owner.

Red instantly stopped laughing and had her sword out in the blink of an eye. She flipped sideways in the air and landed as light as a feather on Neo's back. She put the tip of her sword to the wolf's head. Her eyes got a muderous glare in them.
"Dont touch him," Red said in a cold tone.

"Bella-no! Down!" Arien yelled, trying to sit upright. He managed to grab her by the scruff and drag her out of harms way. "She was just defending me from your cat. I felt teeth, man. Teeth! Against my leg!"

He paused to get a breath as Bella growled and turned to lock gold eyes with Red. "Enough, Bella--I'm in one piece--somehow." He would check his leg later when the threat of dying wasn't as imminent.

"Neo never drew blood. Nor did he break skin. Keep your wolf under control and i will do the same with my tigers," Red sheathed her sword.
Suddenly unbelievable pain ripped through her body. She almost fell but managed to hold back the pain. Nex and Neo felt the urgency of leaving and Red quickly sat on Neo's back. Nex picked up the fish and quickly trotted towards Red's house, deep in the woods. Neo followed behind, leaving then man and wolf to follow if they wished.

"It's still a tiger," muttered Arien, before seeing Red freeze up in...pain? "Hey, are you okay?"

She didn't look alright, and judging by the tigers' sudden switch in behavior, Arien was loathe to leave her behind.

"Bella, heel," he ordered, as he caught up to Neo. "And no more going for my leg," he admonished the tiger gently, "I need those to fight."

Neo looked up at him and shrugged. His eyes were staring at nothing, telling the man he was blind. Red held onto Neo fur tightly then leaned forward putting her head On Neo's neck.
Nex pulled up behind the man and wolf, just to make sure they werent a threat.

Blind eyes surprised Arien. "Whoa." He glanced down at Bella and sighed. "Of course, that explains a lot."

Bella turned briefly when Nex came up behind them, but her fur was flat and her ears curious. She gave a tentative sniff towards the tiger, having never encountered its like before.

"So, um, where are we going?" Arien asked no one in particular--but growing concerned as Red seemed to lose strength.

Nex looked at the wolf and pinned his ears back. He felt a little nervous with her sniffing at him.
What are you sniffing at? Nex sent the thought to Bella.

Neo swivled his peft ear toward the man.
We are going to our house. Neo chose to send the thought to the man as much as he didnt like him.

Arien swiveled briefly, his eyes first on Red, then on the tigers as he searched for the speaker. "House? You live this far in the forest?" Not that he could blame her with having two tigers; and he'd thought having a wolf was bad. "The, er, tigers can speak?"

Bella flinched at the non-voice in her head, an ear flicking uncertainly back at Arien as though he had spoken. Arien grinned. "Oooh, telepathy, I know this one." Amusement and childish pranks arose in his mind before the seriousness of the situation came back. "Is, uh, is she okay? Your...caretaker?" He still had no name.

Nex stared at the man then trotted ahead of the small group. He shook off the nervous feeling and saw the house ahead.

"Her name is Red. If she wishes to tell you what happened to her when she wakes up, then you will know. Im Neo. My brother who ran ahead is Nex. Im more pen to visitors than he is," Neo sent the thought to both the man and wolf.
Sensing that the house was near, he picked up speed.

Arien, too, picked up his speed when the tigers did. "Does this happen often? Maybe a healer would be better..."

Not that he knew one in town. He looked ahead for Nex, wondering what was in store for them.

Bella didn't quite chase after Nex, but she trotted after him, lingering some paces behind to stay between tiger and human.

Ahead there was a small wooden house. Just big enough to fit three people. Nex stopped at the door and looked at the man. It's something that cant be fixed he sent to the man. Neo walked up to the door an pushed with his head. The door opened and the two tigers went inside.

Inside, the small house was just one big room with one room in the back. A fire was goin in the fire place and there were a few various weapons leaning against the stone wall. A huge, red rug was laid out on the sandy floor and to the side was the kitchen. One bed was pushed up against the far, right wall. One window was close to the door while the other was above her bed.

Arien grimaced. "That's no good."

Entering the house, Arien looked around with brief interest; his eyes alighting on the weapons before turning to the fireplace. He set his pack on the ground along with his sword.

"Get her comfortable, I'll start preparing something to eat. Bella, lie down." The wolf had begun to smell the curious odds and ends of the rooms, sneezing twice, before flopping to her stomach with a small whine as Arien disappeared into the kitchen.

Neo walked over to her bed before she struggled up.
"I can do it.. Im not paralyzed," she hissed at the tigers.
Theyre eyes lit up in amusement, knowing she was just that way. She stood up and pain shot through her again but she ignored it. She didnt know the man and his wolf had followed them home. She took off her sword and set it against the small table beside her bed before taking off her cloak. She unbuckled the straps on the arms of her shirt and untied the ties on the sides of the lower part of her pants. Lossening her tight clothes she sat on the bed. She sighed and took off the steampunk goggles, tangled in her hair.

Arien searched through his packs to find something decent to eat. He had a lot of cold things meant for snacking, but he also had some meat and basic breakfast items.

He poked his head out into the main room. It was empty except for Bella, who pricked her ears up. Unaware that Red was awake, he pulled out a pan from his pack. "Nex? Neo? If you still have the fish--I could cook 'em up for you and Red."

Red quickly jumped up, sword up in a flash then winced and sat down.
"Nex. Neo. Why is that man in our house?" Red hissed, looking pretty peeved.
Nex ran his tail on Red's side to calm her then purred and rubbed his head against her hand. She smiled, a little relaxed now.
Neo trotted out of the room and picked up the fish, bringing them to the man.
Red's awake. And she is pretty mad. That your here anyway Neo flicked his ears.

Arien set the fish in the pan, grinning. "Good. Maybe she's hungry?" The smell of fish cooking wafted though the air.

"Besides," he raised his voice just loud enough for Red to hear in the other room: "It's not like I'm going to plunder the house. I'm a traveler, not a thief. AND, I'm making you food. Would a thief do that? I don't think so."

He flipped the fish over as Bella sat up and came over to drool at his elbow.

Red growled to herself then laid back in her bed, too tired to argue with the man.
Nex keep a good eye on him and his wolf. We will have to be departing soon and we need companions. He may become one... And get my medicine please.. red sent the orders to Nex.
Nex nodded briefly and walked out of the room to the kitchen and he got into one of the cabinets, getting her medicine.

The fish was done cooking and Arien stripped what meat he could from the bones so Red wouldn't ingest one. The parts of the fish a human wouldn't want to eat, he fed to Bella.

Done at last, he got to his feet.

"Room service~!" he called out far too merrily as he knocked briefly on the wall to announce his presence. "Fish--cooked and bone free. I hope you're hungry."
