Hello everyone! My name is Golden/Trichlorosilane/Electrum/a bunch of other vaguely chemical and-or element themed names, and I'm a nerd that loves roleplaying and writing! I guess most people here do, though, if they're on a website called Roleplay Repository...

I've done most of my roleplaying throughout my lifetime on IM/chat clients, like MSN (yes I'm old) and its successor Skype, AIM, and now Discord, so I'm a little out of practise RPing on a forum or anything like that. I also tend to make characters set in fandoms, or at least alternative universes of fandoms, as opposed to purely original ones... I just get attached to the worldbuilding of media and like playing in those spaces with my own creations! Doesn't seem like that's super common here, but I'd love to explore that more if possible.

Fandoms I'm in include Sonic, Pikmin, Kirby, Outer Wilds, and Pokemon amongst others though not all of 'em have active characters I'm kicking around. I do have a few characters that are kind of orphaned, outside of fandom, and I COULD think about stripping fandom elements out of a character if necessary but that's tougher for me? In general I love worldbuilding concepts, exploring character psychology and introspection, science fiction (fantasy is cool but it needs consistent rules and tends to turn into sci-fi with a different flavour when I'm sitting in it anyway) and speculative biology/biology stuff in general. I'll probably poke around the Sci-Fi RP forum to see what's available.
