The Initial Entry Round Info
If you want to play dice and win shit, get yourself over to the Epic Week Tombula! Gotta use your user account there though.

26u2uxD.jpegSince Epic Week is coming up in 17 days, I thought I would have an early raffle to get people into the mood. That and it's been too long since the last raffle anyway.

Who is eligible to play?

• Any anonymous character. No player accounts. No public characters.

What dice do we roll?
• One die-roll of 1D100 ↓
dMoaDgg.png

What are you rolling for you ask?

• Good Question. I would like to offer up things like Hour Glasses, Wands, Oils, Masquarade Masks, or Dragon's Teeth, but the IRS taxman is still rummaging his hand around in my pockets looking for spare change, so I'm skint as far as getting items. That said, I do have a healthy inventory. Most of the items will be useful during Epic Week. I'll likely throw in a Cloak or three, and maybe some other stuff. I have yet to decide the prize list, but there will be one high-value item in the mix.

(Un) Official Rules: (ripped from a past raffle)
• This is a Raffle using 1x 100 sided dice.
• Post as an Anonymous Character (no public characters or player account names) in this thread making an in-character comment about whatever. It's a good chance to highlight your character and to even tout some roleplay ideas for them. Just don't forget to add the die roll.
• You can only post/roll once per Anonymous Character.
• If you have a hundred anonymous characters, you can post/roll one time each.
• If you don't do anonymous characters, you can turn a public character anonymous to participate. It must remain anonymous for the duration of the raffle or it will be disqualified.
• All anonymous characters participating must have their profiles publicly viewable. When I get to reviewing the characters for the final phase of the raffle, any that are set to Draft Mode will be disqualified.
• The initial phase of this raffle is simply to have anonymous character participation.
• The initial phase will remain open for anonymous characters to roll until 11:59:59pm Pacific Daylight Time April 23rd 2025. At midnight starting April 24th, the beginning of Epic Week, rolling will be closed and no new characters will be able to participate.
• The final phase will consist of my rolling dice, and any character who has rolled the number I rolled will win a prize.
• This is not an official/RPR sponsored giveaway. The items that will be awarded are from personally-acquired inventory.
• The prizes to be given away are yet to be determined, but there will be at least one high-value item in the mix.
• Do people actually read through all the rules? Any rule not followed, will disqualify the character from the final raffle.
• If anyone has any questions, DM me. I won't respond to any questions put forth in this raffle thread.
• Let's have some fun! I'll roll for myself to show how it's done.
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 87.

Note: Hey, I want a chance to win back what I'm giving away...

Lia Raynes (played anonymously)

"Ok, this sounds interesting..." Lia listened to the radio announcer talk of the contest, and she did like these sorts of things. She called the station. When the announcer answered Lia said, "You have an interesting raffle going on. I'm intrigued. Now, play a Blondie song in memory of their drummer Clem Burke who died of cancer yesterday."
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 9.

Note: Why not?

Theresa Knox (played anonymously)

Theresa heard about a contest raffle thingy and thought she would join. It sounded simple enough even if she had no idea what would be gained by playing. Still, it would be fun to see what happens.

I will plug my LFRP ad I still have open from February's 'Meet Cute' challenge. I have one story still going, but even though Meet Cute may be over, but I'm still interested in finding new people to write with. I am open for a couple more if anyone is interested. :D
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 68.
Layla Heisenberg (played anonymously)

It was a highly anticipated contest and raffle event on Epik Week at RPR, an occasion that promised to draw in enthusiastic crowd. As a seasoned journalist, Layla knew that whenever there's a crowd, there's a story to be told, and she was determined to be the one to tell it. She had arrived at the event with her notebook and pen at the ready, eager to capture the excitement and energy of the occasion.

As she scanned the room, Layla noticed that there were already two ladies present. She couldn't help but wonder if the presence of Ray, the charismatic radio announcer, had something to do with the fact that the attendees were predominantly female. Layla suspected that he might be the draw that was attracting the ladies to the event. As a journalist, Layla knew that she would probably have to interview Ray later on, to get his take on the event and the crowd that had gathered. She made a mental note to prepare some questions for him, and to try to get a sense of what made him so appealing to his female fans.

As she continued to observe the scene, Layla's eyes landed on the raffle table, where a dice sat waiting to be rolled. "I may have to try this raffle too, just in case," she mumbled to herself, a hint of excitement in her voice. She walked over to the table, picked up the dice, and gave it a roll. She watched as the dice came to a stop, her heart beating just a little bit faster with anticipation. What would she win? A prize, a surprise, or maybe something more? Only time would tell.

I’m already in a great RP so I’be got nothing to plug.

Reluctantly, I did read all the rules, Ray. 😉

Luke Thompson (played anonymously)

"Not sure why it's all the ladies this far but, I hope you don't mind I'm entering the contest, Ray."

Luke rubbed the back of his neck and he saw a familiar figure already gotten in. "Oh, hi Theresa. Hope you win something good."
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 37.
Gigi Vale (played anonymously)

I’m just popping in to make sure everyone is safe! Gigi here to tend to your medical needs, and perhaps your superhero needs if things go really bad.
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 6.
Brenda Wysocki (played anonymously)

“Oh damn! It be Ray the radio voice my parents always have on in the car. They stream your show in the daytime, and I’ve called you up live old school in the middle of the night to request something this century. Anyway, since you’re giving away shit, I’m in.”
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 96.

Note: Whee! Dice!

Sinclair and Sienna (played anonymously)

Sienna stares at the radio with wide sparkling eyes, it was a new-ish invention at the time so this magical little box emitting a voice was fascinating to her "Ooo! Daddy! Can we participate? There's a chance at getting free stuff!" She suddenly exclaims as she hears of the raffle, turning to look at her father with a pleading look.

Sinclair merely chuckles "Yes sure, might as well, there's no harm in it after all."
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 66.

Note: Never gonna pass up the opportunity to (potentially) get free stuff

Lady Doom (played anonymously)

I've consulted the cards and they warn trouble is near.

Note: Guessing an '88'

Monica Wilford (played anonymously)

Ray, you should come down to the Book Mark and do a remote broadcast of one of the live local acoustical acts we have play!"
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 76.
Nikita Kawachi (played anonymously)

"I'm not sure what I'm doing but I'll roll."
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 17.
Stonebridge Pirates (played anonymously)

Weigh anchor and hoist the mizzen!
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 28.
Roger Adams (played anonymously)

One of the guys in our Stalag Luft 1 barracks got some dice in a Red Cross package. We got six six sided dice, and a weird 100-sided one. I’ll Roll it and see what it does.

Well, how about that. The chance of a 5 coming up was 1 in 100. It’s 1 in 6 for a 5 to come up on a normal dice, but is a 1 in 100 5 worth more than a 1 in 6 5? It’s still a 5.
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 5.

Note: A Weird Dice this one.

Madeline (played anonymously)

Can I write an article showcasing the winner?
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 69.
Ingrid Olsen (played anonymously)

I’m feeling lucky today.
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 34.
Marcus Stoufer (played anonymously)

"Yeah, I won the numbers, so why not play the game."
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 90.
Rhianna Brooks (played anonymously)

“Hello Ray! I’ll take part, but could you play a song for my on your next radio show? It’s an oldie from the 1960s but I just learned my grandmother was a dancer in the video for it.

These Boots are made for Walking
rolled 1d100 and got a natural 37.
