Hange leaned in, clearly entertained as Kaiza started his story, their eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Wait, wait, so you swapped their wheels?" they asked, a mischievous grin forming. "That’s genius. I bet they didn’t see that coming!"
They watched intently as Kaiza shook the cocktail, hanging on every word. "Breezing past them with that ear-to-ear grin, huh?" Hange chuckled. "I can already picture it. Watching them struggle to keep up while you just glide along. Classic move!"
As Kaiza finished pouring the drink and set it down, Hange raised their glass in a toast. "That’s a solid prank! I’ve gotta say, that sounds like a blast." They took a sip of their drink, nodding in approval.

Kaiza jotted down Emeris' order on a notepad. "Nah, you're good," he said before ripping the paper off and slipping in into a slit that led to the kitchen. "We got a meal fit for a king, no pun intended!" He shouted at the fry cook.
He turned back to the counter and grabbed a shaker. "So this was like a week ago. Me and the gang are at the skate park," Kaiza said to Hange with a cheeky tone in his voice.
"If a lack of sleep is the issue, there is this pharmacist that comes every now and then," Kaiza then said to Emeris. He added ice, freshly squeezed orange, lime, lemon juice, whiskey, simple syrup, then egg white into the shaker.
"Back to my story. So I decided to swap their wheels for slightly softer ones." Kaiza began shaking the shaker and then tossed into the air. He caught it effortless and poured the sour into a rocks glass. "There I was, breezing past them with a ear to ear grin on my face as they struggled to gain speed." He topped the rim of the glass with a dried orange slice and slid it to King Emeris.
"There you go, my man. One cirtus whiskey sour," he said before a bell rung from the kitchen. Kaiza rushed towards the kitchen door and grabbed a tray of food from the line cook. He placed the steaming plates of food in front of the king from the tray. "Bon appetit!" Kaiza said after giving the king silverware wrapped in a napkin.

The king nods, chuckling at the pun as he slides 10 gold coins over the counter. "Keep the change, I don't have much use for it, I have enough as it is."
(That's like, a years food payment where he is, so ya)
"Ya dang right is!" Kaiza said to Hange, a chuckle following afterwards. "But enough about me. You got any stories to share?" He took in their military like attire before his eyes darted up to Hange's eyepatch with curiosity. "You're some kind of solider, right?"
"Thank ya kindly." Kaiza placed the ten gold coins into the cash register. "If you two ever need some peace and quiet, there's a ladder upstairs that leds to the pub's tower," he said while pointing up, "It's a little reading nook."

Hange let out a hearty laugh at Kaiza’s enthusiasm, swirling their drink in their hand. "Oh, trust me, I’ve got plenty of stories," they said with a grin. "Some exciting, some downright bizarre, and a few that might make you question my sanity." They leaned in slightly, clearly enjoying the conversation. "Ever heard about the time I tried to ride a Titan? On purpose? Let’s just say, it almost worked—until it didn’t."
At Kaiza’s observation, Hange’s grin widened, and they playfully tapped the side of their eyepatch. "Soldier? Yeah, you could say that. More like a scientist and a soldier rolled into one. The things I’ve seen… well, let’s just say they’d make for very interesting bar talk. Picture this: I’ve spent years getting up close and personal with Titans, running experiments, taking notes, sometimes getting chased… you know, normal stuff." They laughed, taking another sip of their drink. "I’ve got field stories that range from terrifying to downright ridiculous. Like the time I got so caught up in my research, I didn’t even notice a Titan sneaking up on me—until my comrades had to drag me away kicking and screaming because I really wanted to see what it would do next."
