I was talking to some police officers in my town about how it worked on patrols.

They claimed each cop had a certain spot in the city that they had to consistently patrol. Now obviously we ain't got the numbers for that, so we'd probably have two or more areas to patrol for each beat cop right now.

But could we mark what spots to patrol? Maybe hours they work too so we get a understanding of their schedule and where to rp them at certain times?

Thanks so much.

So I actually have a little something for this. It is by no means definitive and was based on a small number of officers but it was just an example I made to explain distribution.

Distribution of Officers by District
Detectives operate out of Riverside, as does the NPC roles and Lieutenant

Downtown

Sergeants - 3
Officers (Including Reserve and Recruits) - 100

Riverside

Sergeants - 4
Officers (Including Reserve and Recruits) - 105

Chinatown

Sergeants - 0
Officers (Including Reserve and Recruits) - 0

Five Points

Sergeants - 1
Officers (Including Reserve and Recruits) - 5

Rochet

Sergeants - 0
Officers (Including Reserve and Recruits) - 0

Perdition Park

Officers (Including Reserve and Recruits) - 25

Mind you, this is just to show where NVPD influence is spread and can be interpreted more as Downtown and Riverside see the most police presence, Rochet and Five Points see way less and Chinatown's police presence is, by canon, 0.
Love it, thanks so much.
Updated to show NVPD has no jurisdiction over Rochet as well. They have their own PD :)
Beats in districts.
